The SmokeaCali Story
SmokeaCali LLC, based in Los Angeles, California, was founded in January 2009 by California natives,Ryan DeRouchey and JC Campbell. After seeing the benefits of electronic cigarettes, both were intrigued by the product. Upon further research, Ryan and JC saw the positive impact the devices could have on environmental level in comparison to the traditional cigarettes, and that’s where their journey began. Today, they have built a brand that embraces their own personal beliefs - leading a balanced lifestyle and caring for the world around them.

Offering a wide range of premium electronic cigarettes,cigars and accessories, SmokeaCali also gives customers the choice of several different flavors and strengths. With the same look and feel of traditional cigarettes and cigars, but no toxins or chemicals polluting the atmosphere, smokers can enjoy an odorless smoking alternative anywhere, anytime.

Bio: Ryan DeRouchey
At age 16, business visionary and SmokeaCali founder, Ryan DeRouchey knew he was destined to succeed. Building successful businesses from the ground up, DeRouchey once started a Satellite TV Business from his bedroom in Albany, California. Experiencing the ups and downs of growing a business, he learned that hard work and dedication would soon payoff. Months after starting the company, DeRouchey was able to expand his business into the Los Angeles area and from there, to a store in Hollywood.

After beginning his new venture with SmokeaCali in 2009, DeRouchey became involved in all aspects of the business. From sales and customer service to brand management and marketing, his creative skills have given him the tools necessary to mold and grow SmokeaCali into a company with a purpose. Incorporating his personal beliefs into the company’s core values, SmokeaCali offers the highest quality products with a focus on environmental awareness.

Currently residing in downtown Los Angeles, DeRouchey looks forward to continuously growing the SmokeaCali brand into a world class company.

Bio: JC Campbell
Juan-Carlos “JC” Campbell is no stranger when it comes to taking a risk. Born and raised on the Westside of Los Angeles in Venice, Campbell graduated from high school and turned down a college scholarship to pursue his dreams of starting a business. Campbell met Ryan DeRouchey along the way and the two joined forces, never looking back.

Campbell’s passion for creating change became evident when he first learned of the e-cigarette. He strongly believed that SmokeaCali products could be a positive change needed in our society, both from an individual and environmental standpoint. With thousands of people dying each year from smoking related issues, Campbell knew SmokeaCali could offer solutions to help smokers and non-smokers alike.

Aside from managing several departments within SmokeaCali, Campbell remains busy ensuring the company has the tools necessary to run smoothly. Still residing on the Westside of Los Angeles, Campbell and his high school sweetheart and wife, Celeste, are proud parents to 4-year old daughter. Family time is extremely important to him and it excites him to offer people a way to prevent secondhand smoke, especially around children.

Looking to the future, Campbell is committed to building SmokeaCali into a global company that not only offers superior products, but makes a difference in the world around him.
